FINALLY, a "better way" to insert "barbed" hose fittings into the ends of industrial hoses.

Up
until now, the only tools marketed for this process were "Table-Top" mounted tools, like the one shown
below:
The major
challenge with these types of tools is the fact that they were
designed as a "table-top" unit and as
such, have "zero portability!"
In addition, several other challenges also exist
for this type of platform and they are as follows:

1 - The hose tends to buckle-up during
the fitting insertion process.

2 - The support tower for the Locking Lever
is weak and often breaks after about a thousand
cycles.

3 - The main Action Lever has been known
to bend if used improperly.
In order
to use this tool the hose assembly must be brought
to the shop or production line where the tool is
mounted.

to the previous questions is... Absolutely
YES, and the tool that can do it is the patented
“BarbMaster®,” as shown

The
BM-1000i
This tool will handle those
less-aggressive barbed fittings, like that of Parker brand Push-Lok® fittings. These tools were designed for pliable low-pressure hose applications where barbed-fittings are used and has a range of 1/4" I.D. up to and including 5/8" I.D.
However, this
tool does not have
enough pushing force for those more-aggressive barbed fittings,
like that of Swagelok® brand barbed fittings, and is not recommended for fittings greater than 5/8" I.D.
Oh sure, this tool will install a 1/2" Swagelok®
barbed fitting but one needs to have an above-average
grip for doing so.
For 3/4" fittings and those more-aggressive styled barbs, like Swagelok®, we offer
a more powerful tool that addresses those needs.

BM-1000j
This tool has
40% MORE
pushing POWER
than the BM-1000i. This is the tool of choice for installing larger fittings and those with more-aggressive barbs, like that of Swagelok®
brand fittings. This tool will handle ALL brands of barbed fittings from 1/4" I.D. up to and including 3/4" I.D.
