What
are the warranties on merchandise?
All
tools that we manufacture carry a full one-year
warranty!
IMPORTANT
NOTICE: Benford
Tools does NOT warrant the RUSTING of the
"Travel-Bar."
This part of each tool is either manufactured
by Irwin Tool or Jorgenson, Inc. We currently
have no control on how this part of the product
is made, yet that is. These Travel-Bars are
made from cold rolled steel and have a light
protective coating. This coating is very thin
and if proper care is
not taken, it will oxidize and rust.
A frequent light oiling will reduce and/or
prevent this challenge.
In
addition, we have a limited warranty guideline
for the "Bending" of these Travel-Bars
as well. Under "normal
use" this should not be a challenge;
however, there are some very strong people
out there that could potentially apply enough
force to bend these Travel-Bars, especially
the bars of the BM-1000j's - the Jorgensen
platform. If your tool fails to perform because
of a bent Travel-Bar during the one-year warranty
period we will be happy to either: 1) rotate
the bar for you at no charge, so long as the
tool continues to work properly; or, 2) replace
this bar one time per
customer for each tool that you purchased,
providing there are zero signs of abuse.
PRODUCT
WARRANTY and RETURNS
Benford Tools, LLC (the “Company”) guarantees
the products shown in this publication against
defects in material and workmanship for one-year
from the date of shipment, provided the products
are used under normal operating conditions.
All claims for product
defects are waived unless reported to the
Company in writing
(i.e. e-mail or complete
and submit an RMA Form) within thirty
days after a
buyer or end-user has knowledge of such a
defect. THE ABOVE GUARANTEE IS THE
SOLE WARRANTY GIVEN BY THE COMPANY, AND ALL
OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED AND
EXCLUDED. A buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy
for the breach of any warranty of the Company
shall be the replacement of the product(s)
determined by the Company to be defective
or, at the Company’s option the refund of
the invoiced price of such products. A buyer
shall not recover special, indirect, or consequential
damages for the breach of any warranty made
by the Company to the buyer. When used or
stored the tool should not be exposed to aggressive
or destructive atmospheres, which may corrode
the tool hardware or fittings, including but
not limited to ammonia, nitrogen, hydrocarbons,
acids, corrosive compounds, or mercury atmospheres.
We want you to be pleased with your BarbMaster
tool. If for any reason you are not satisfied,
call or write to us within 30 days of your
purchase date for an authorization to return
or exchange your merchandise. See the Returns

When
returning product one should always use appropriate
packaging materials as to prevent shipping
damages. Benford Tools is not responsible
for broken product due to shipping hazards
and/or lost of stolen shipments. It is recommended
that when returning a product that one can
track the shipment for their personal assurances.

or copy of the purchase receipt and your RMA

Please
allow 7 to 10 days to process your refund.
Depending upon your credit card company, it
may take 30-45 days before you receive a credit
posted to your account.
If
product is being replaced because of a defect,
we will have your replacement product shipped
out within 24 hours of receiving it, that
is, per normal business days. If we receive
it before 12:00 Noon (CDT) on Friday your replacement
will be shipped that same day, and in most
cases, it will arrive at your place of business
or residence within 72 hours or three business
days.

We
want you to be satisfied with your order.
If you are not totally satisfied, call or
write to us within 30 days from the date of
purchase for an authorization to return or
exchange your merchandise. See the Return

that said, we do not currently participate
in any link exchange programs; however, an
"Affiliate Coded" ordering system
is available for geographically assigned territories.

participants that are already associated

payment methods do you accept?
We
accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American
Express for all phone and Internet/online
purchases. We do NOT accept cash, unless you
are dealing with one of our sales reps in
first person.

"off-line" purchases we do NOT accept
personal checks but will accept money-orders

What
is your payment policy?
We
accept several major credit cards like Visa,
MasterCard, Discover, and AMEX. In addition,
we also accept money orders and cashiers checks.
At
this time we do not accept purchase orders.
We are a small start-up company with limited
capital and human resources. If you are purchasing
for a larger company and your “Corporate”
credit card will not handle said purchase,
we will work with you on an individual basis
in order to figure out a viable solution.
As
with any other business, we will not ship
product until payment has been received.
How
can I document my exemption from sales tax?
Tax
exemptions are given for the following types
of organizations: most churches, farms, non-profit
organizations, city, county, state, and federally
run government institutions would also qualify.
Substantiating proof must be provided as to
the entity's identity, along with a viable
contact for the person on record as being
authorized to make such purchases. In addition,
applicable State Comptroller Tax Exemption
forms will also need to be submitted via fax
or snail-mail.

Will
I need to pay sales tax on my purchases?
Yes,
if you live in the State of Texas.
Currently,
Benford Tools only collects sales tax on purchases
shipped to Texas residents and businesses.
If you have a valid tax-exemption claim for
the State of Texas, you
must send us a properly completed exemption
certificate before ordering. Once received,
we will supply you with
a code to enter
on the Website so that your transaction will
not be charged sales tax.

Important
points to remember:
- Please make sure
all required fields are completed including
the type of exemption you are claiming.
Incomplete forms will not be accepted.
- A copy of your business
sales tax permit is not an acceptable substitute
for the State-Approved form.
- If
you are purchasing items for your own use,
we cannot accept a resale exemption certificate.
You must pay sales tax on these items.
- Farmers - please
note that some states do not allow agricultural
exemptions for many items. It is not our
call as to determine if a “BarbMaster” is
or is not applicable for farm use tax-exempt
status. We at Benford feel as if it would
definitely “qualify;” however, that’s just
our opinion. Please consult your tax advisor
before submitting an exemption certificate.

Benford Tools accept donation requests?
Benford
Tools believes strongly in supporting worthwhile
organizations, charities and community events.
To show our support, we contribute annually
to several non-profit agencies within the
USA. While we would like to show our support
to all who request it, we are a start-up company
that has budgeted guidelines to which we must
adhere. Currently we are no longer accepting
requests for additional donations.
